Job Description:
Designation: Finance Manager
Location: Mumbai
Shift: UK Shift (12.30 PM - 10 PM IST)
Responsibilities:
Work with the Group Financial Controller to ensure all entities within the group are fully audit ready ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial information.
Partner with LE accountants to review financial data, confirm reconciliations, and verify supporting documentation for key accounts.
Lead the group-wide intercompany clean-up, ensuring balances are reconciled, confirmed, and properly eliminated for consolidation.
Oversee the clean-up of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate asset classification, depreciation, and documentation.
Collaborate with finance and ops teams to undertake the inventory reconciliation process, ensuring consistency between system records, physical counts, and financial reporting.
Coordinate statutory audit activities across entities ensuring timely delivery of audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting evidence.
Support the Group Financial Controller in strengthening financial controls, documentation standards, and reporting consistency across the group.
Monitor and report on progress of clean-up and audit-preparation initiatives, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
Candidate requirements:
Qualification: Accounting qualification (ACCA/ ACA) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 57 years in finance or accounting, including audit exposure
Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills.
Solid understanding of group reporting and intercompany accounting.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and challenge numbers.
Confident working across multiple entities and coordinating with auditors.
Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills - high English proficiency
