Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION- MANAGER- FINANCE/ACCOUNTS

Purpose of the Role:

To manage end-to-end financial operations including payables, receivables, inventory accounting, and general ledgers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting to support effective decision-making within the organization.

Key Deliverables

Financial Operations:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

- Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliation, and valuation as per company standards.

- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure proper documentation.

Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.

- Generate and maintain weekly aging reports, highlighting critical accounts to management.

- Provide regular status updates to corporate teams and escalate high-risk items promptly.

Collaboration & Coordination:

- Work closely with internal departments and corporate finance to ensure clarity, alignment, and smooth financial operations.

- Support audits (internal/external) by providing necessary data and clarifications.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education & Experience

- CA or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with 48 years of relevant experience.

- Experience in the nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP environments is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of financial management including payables, receivables, inventory management, and ledger maintenance.

- Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, and adherence to accounting standards.

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with corporate teams.

- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
