As we scale our global footprint, we are seeking a Finance Manager who will lead the finance function end-to-end and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company.

Role Overview

This role will be responsible for building and leading the finance function at CMART Solutions. This role will cover taxation, compliance, budgeting, cost control, reporting, and broader financial governance across geographies. Working closely with the leadership team, the Finance Manager will ensure that financial planning and execution support CMARTs growth objectives while maintaining transparency, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1.Financial Strategy & Planning

• Define and implement the financial strategy in alignment with CMARTs growth objectives.
• Lead annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles across business units and geographies.
• Deliver financial insights and scenario-based analysis to support strategic decision-making.

2.Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee company taxation across India, the UK, and other current/future jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with international, national, and local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with tax consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities.

3.Financial Control & Reporting

• Develop and enforce robust financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Oversee timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and statutory audit requirements.

4.Expense & Cost Management

• Establish governance frameworks for expense approvals and reporting.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while supporting business expansion.
• Monitor vendor payments, receivables, and credit controls.

5.Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with HR and Operations on payroll, benefits and compliance matters.
• Support leadership on new entity setups, cross-border structuring and investment opportunities.

6.Other Responsibilities

• Oversee company secretarial matters, board filings and governance reporting.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal audit frameworks.
• Drive technology adoption within finance

Qualifications & Skills

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance).
• Strong expertise in international taxation, IFRS/GAAP, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Proven track record in budgeting, reporting and financial planning.
• Ability to set up and scale a finance function in a growing company.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on, adaptable leadership style with ability to balance strategy and execution.
