Finance Lead – Retail & Online Business

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategicFinanceLeadto oversee financial operations and drive performance across our Retail and Online business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-onleader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Leadthe annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for retail and online business segments
• Perform variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions
• Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost control

2. Business Partnering:

• Act as afinancebusiness partner to sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Collaborate on pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization
• Support expansion initiatives including new store openings or digital platform investments

3. Reporting & Tax Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor and enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Manage marketplace reconciliations and ensure tax compliance for all online business.
• Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits

4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

• Monitor cash flow projections and working capital requirements
• Optimize inventory and receivables to improve cash conversion cycles

5. System & Process Improvements:

• Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and business analytics
• Recommend and implement financial systems and tools as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBAFinance, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in a similarfinanceleadership role, ideally within retail or E Commerce sectors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP) and Excel modeling
