Finance Lead

One of Indias largest and most trusted neuro-psychological & addiction rehabilitation networks (17+ centres, 1,100+ beds, 40+ doctors) is looking for a Finance Lead to help strengthen, scale, and streamline our finance function as we continue expanding across India.

This is a high-ownership , high-impact role for someone who wants to build systems, bring structure to a multi-location organisation, and work closely with leadership to drive financial excellence.

Must-Haves

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
• Experience working in startups , ideally with hands-on involvement in building financial systems and processes from scratch.
• Comfortable with a 6-day work-from-office (WFO) schedule in Mumbai.

What Youll Own

As the Finance Lead, you will be the senior-most person handling end-to-end finance , including:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgets & quarterly/monthly forecasts
• Build dashboards for occupancy , centre-wise P&L , cost per bed , revenue per patient , etc.
• Conduct scenario modelling for new centre openings, pricing, and capex decisions

Accounting, Compliance & Controls

• Oversee month-end close , P&L, cash flows & financial statements for all centres
• Ensure GAAP / Indian GAAP compliance , statutory filings , and audit management
• Strengthen internal controls: expense policies, revenue recognition, centre-level cost tracking

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with Operations, HR, Procurement & Centre Heads
• Support leadership on expansion, capex planning, cost optimisation & financial strategy
• Improve financial hygiene, data accuracy & process discipline across locations

Team Leadership

• Lead a small finance & accounting team
• Mentor junior members & build a scalable finance organisation
• Introduce processes, SOPs & automation to improve speed, accuracy & transparency

Who Were Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A or Controllership
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, MIS & multi-location financial management
• Solid accounting foundations: month-end close, audits, taxation, statutory compliance
• Someone who has built systems/processes from scratch or worked in a growing organisation
• Proficiency with ERPs (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.) & financial automation
• CA is mandatory.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, scaling environment where processes are evolving
• Strong communicator who can work closely with founders & centre heads
