Finance Executive

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive with hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial operations. The role will support day-to-day finance activities, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and assist in monthly and year-end closures.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Book Closure

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closures
• Handle journal entries, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance : returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and notices
• Ensure timely TDS computation, deductions, and filings (24Q, 26Q, 16, 16A)
• Support PF, ESI, Professional Tax compliances and filings
• Coordinate with consultants/auditors for statutory and tax audits

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Track receivables, follow up for collections, and manage aging reports
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all payments

Payroll & Employee Finance Support

• Coordinate payroll inputs, verify payroll calculations, and resolve payroll-related queries
• Support finance inputs for increment/appraisal cycles , F&F settlements, and reimbursements

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports , variance analysis, and expense tracking
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control initiatives
• Provide finance data and reports to management as required

Process Improvement & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Support system and process audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar)
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines
