Role Overview

A global consumer health organization is seeking a Finance Data Lead Data Quality to join its data excellence team.

This role focuses on building and maintaining data workflows, analytics pipelines, and business intelligence solutions that support financial reporting and data quality initiatives. The successful candidate will combine technical data expertise with financial understanding to automate reporting processes, improve data integrity, and deliver impactful dashboards for business stakeholders.

You will work closely with finance, data governance, and analytics teams to design scalable data solutions and improve the efficiency and reliability of financial data processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated data workflows using tools such as Alteryx and KNIME to support ETL processes.
• Write and optimize SQL queries within platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks to enable analytics and reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with financial and business requirements.
• Integrate data pipelines with Power BI to support real-time reporting and performance monitoring.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with master data management teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
• Document workflows, data models, and technical processes to support long-term maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to automate financial reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines, dashboards, and source data inconsistencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx and/or KNIME for data preparation and ETL workflows.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, preferably within Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data environments.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree or professional certification in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of financial concepts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cost centre accounting.
• Experience with master data management systems and data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and API integrations.
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
