Role OverviewT

he Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the companys financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and financial planning processes. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, MIS reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to work closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
• Ensure preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Monitor revenue recognition, cost allocations, and accrual accounting.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Prepare variance analysis and financial performance reports.
• Assist management in financial modelling and scenario planning.

3. Internal Controls & Compliance

• Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flows, working capital, and liquidity management.
• Oversee banking relationships, fund management, and payment approvals.

5. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS packs and dashboards for senior management.
• Track key financial KPIs and operational metrics.
• Provide insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in financial processes.
• Implement best practices in accounting, reporting, and controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CWA preferred.
• 68 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and taxation.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare / PE-backed companies / fast-growing organizations.
• Exposure to investor reporting and due diligence.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and data analytics.
