Analyst – General Ledger Accounting

Position Summary:

Junior A2R accountant reports to Team Lead – GL and IRA and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for books close for multiple countries in APAC region
• Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards
• Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
• Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
• Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
• Support Statutory accounts for the countries.
• Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries

Preferred Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting similar
• At least 3+ years of experience of managing accounting (preferably in General Ledger or R2R area)
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
• Strong willingness to learn and develop
