Key skills required:

·       Proficient in Accounting and should have good understanding of Accounting principles and concepts.

·       Ability to interpret, apply and maintain GAAP.

·       Good understanding of data from across system in Quote to Cash cycle and Revenue recognition.

·       Works on financial and accounting assignments with clearly defined objectives.

·       Should have 2-4 yrs of experience in R2R preferably Revenue Accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Prepare, analyze and/ or record Revenue Accounting entries to General ledger for month end closing.

·       Validation and reporting of Revenue, Deferred Revenue, Unbilled AR, contra revenue etc.

·       Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations- Deferred Accounts, Unbilled AR, Cash in Advance, AR provisions etc to ensure G/L information is accurate, consistent and properly backed up. Ensure all relevant account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly.

·       Prepare and ensure all documentation for G/L entries meet company policy and SOX compliance and is properly maintained.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s and CA Inter/ICWA or holds master’s degree in Accounting

·       Proficient in MS office applications, excel in particular.

·       Experience in SAP is preferred
