Role and Responsibilities

Here are the key expectations from the role:

1. Good working knowledge of GST reconciliation, filings, and returns.

2. Good working knowledge of Direct taxes

3. Good working Knowledge of customs procedure and clearing process.

4. Hands-on experience of attending GST assessments and replying to customs notices.

5. Experience in handling Accounts receivable and payable processes.

6. Preparing monthly and annual budgets

7. Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses and cash flow projections as needed

8. Prepare financial statements and reports independently

9. Analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheet, and income statement, and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested

10. Prepare and communicate monthly MIS reports

11. Accounting for Fixed Assets and maintaining the fixed asset register

12. Assist with quarterly internal audit procedures

13. Assist in preparing year-end books for audit

14. Prepare process notes and implement for accounts and finance.

15. Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities

16. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned

17. Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B.com with MBA (Finance) or CA(Inter)/CMA(Inter)

Experience of 8-10 years overall and at least 5 years in a similar role.

Preferred Skills

1. Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

2. Working Knowledge of SAP Business 1 is preferred

3. Should have good written and oral communication skills.

Other skills required are related to problem solving, entering, and verifying data, knowledge of computers, various software applications and standard office equipment
