Role Overview

The Filmmaking Faculty will be responsible for driving learner success by curating and delivering

academic content, mentoring students, and ensuring that program outcomes are achieved

effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and structured online live sessions across filmmaking modules

Guide the development and execution of a central short film in collaboration with

expert instructors and production teams

Support learners throughout their individual short film projects, conducted remotely

using structured assignments and virtual guidance

Provide critical feedback on scripts, footage, and rough cuts

Evaluate and grade learner submissions using defined rubrics

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of curriculum and timelines

Contribute to the academic quality and continuous improvement of course content

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of filmmaking and/or academic experience

Hands-on expertise in short film creation from ideation to post-production

Familiarity with online learner engagement, tools, and virtual mentoring techniques

Strong command of key filmmaking disciplines: Direction, Scriptwriting, Cinematography,

Editing, Production Design, etc.

Experience in coaching or supervising students or emerging filmmakers

Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Portfolio or showreel of relevant short films required
