Reporting To: Business / Sales Head
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and well-connectedField Sales Executive based out of Mumbai to manage and grow our presence across key government healthcare institutions includingGMSD Mumbai, CGHS Additional Director (AD) Office, and CGHS Dispensaries in Mumbai, Pune, and the Western India region.
The role involvespromotion of medicines supplied to government centres , end-to-end coordination fromsupply execution to payment follow-up , andrelationship management with multiple stakeholders across these institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Promotion
- Promote and facilitate usage of company-supplied medicines atGMSD Mumbai, CGHS AD Office, and CGHS dispensaries .
- Ensure proper visibility, awareness, and continuity of supplied medicines within government healthcare facilities.
- Support onboarding of new products and ensure smooth adoption at institutional level.
Institutional Coordination & Supply Follow-up
- Coordinate closely with GMSD Mumbai for:
- Indents, allocations, and supply schedules
- Dispatch tracking and delivery confirmations
- Follow up on end-to-end supply status fromorder placement to receipt at CGHS dispensaries .
- Resolve supply-related issues including shortages, delays, or documentation gaps.
Payment & Documentation Follow-up
- Track invoices and payment status for supplies made through GMSD Mumbai.
- Follow up with concerned departments for timely release of payments.
- Coordinate internally with accounts, logistics, and operations teams to ensure compliance and closure.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and nurture strong working relationships with:
- Officials at GMSD Mumbai
- CGHS AD Office staff
- Medical Officers, Pharmacists, and Administrative staff at CGHS dispensaries
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government stakeholders in the assigned region.
- Maintain professional and ethical conduct in line with government engagement norms.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Provide regular field reports on:
- Supply status
- Consumption trends
- Stock positions at dispensaries
- Share feedback from government institutions on product performance and future requirements.
- Support management with insights related to tenders, procurement cycles, and policy updates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (Science / Pharmacy background preferred).
- 25 years of experience in field sales or institutional sales, preferably in:
- Government healthcare sales
- Pharmaceuticals / medical supplies
- Prior exposure toCGHS, GMSD, ESIC, or other government medical institutions is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of government procurement and payment processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai, Pune, and Western India.
- Self-driven, relationship-oriented, and comfortable working in a process-heavy environment.
