Step Up for India (SUFI) is a not-for-profit organization working to improve English learning outcomes for children in vernacular-medium government schools across India. Founded in 2013, SUFI designs and delivers structured, practical English programs that help children build foundational language skills, confidence, and independent learning abilities.Working closely with education departments, school leaders, and teachers, SUFI strengthens classroom practices and supports equitable learning opportunities for children from under-resourced communities. SUFIs programs have reached lakhs of children across multiple states.

Role Overview

The Field Coordinator will manage implementation of English language programs across 7080 government schools in the MCB Region , ensuring smooth coordination, monitoring, and teacher support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with district/block education officials and school leadership
• Conduct regular school monitoring visits and classroom observations
• Support baseline and endline assessments and manage program data
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Manage and track distribution of program materials
• Support teacher training sessions and provide on-going mentoring
• Maintain operational documents, expense records, and field data
• Ensure timely and quality execution of program activities

Eligibility & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline (Education preferred)
• Good communication skills in both Hindi and English
• Strong coordination, documentation, and reporting skills
• Experience in NGO / education programs preferred
• Exposure to teacher training or academic support is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and digital tools
• Self-driven, organized, and adaptable to field conditions
• 25 years of relevant work experience
• Willingness to travel extensively within the MCB Region
