Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer Healthcare Interoperability
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Python and SQL
- Hands-on with GCP services Cloud Composer (Airflow/DAGs), Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/BigQuery
- Good knowledge of healthcare data standards CCDA and FHIR (HL7 is nice to have)
- Experience with data conversion HL7 FHIR or CCDA FHIR
- Ability to design and build ETL/ELT pipelines and automate workflows in GCP
- Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring of data pipelines in production environments.
- Familiarity with FHIR data stores/APIs and RESTful operations.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile delivery.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to InterSystems IRIS for Health or similar integration tools
- Familiarity with healthcare terminologies (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD, RxNorm)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Excellent communication and collaboration in an agile setup
