Job Title: Fertility Counsellor

Role Overview

As a Fertility Counsellor , you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and couples through complex fertility journeys. You will work closely with physicians and care teams to ensure patients feel informed, emotionally supported, and confident throughout their treatment process. This role blends patient education, care coordination, and emotional support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What You Will Do

Patient Education & Care Coordination

• Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols, and procedures in a clear and empathetic manner
• Conduct regular coordination with physicians to review cycling patients lab results and ultrasound findings
• Translate physician instructions into clear next steps for patients and ensure timely communication

Counselling & Emotional Support

• Provide ongoing counselling and emotional support to patients and couples navigating fertility treatments
• Support patients through sensitive conversations, uncertainty, and decision-making with empathy and professionalism
• Foster a compassionate and psychologically safe environment for patients and their families

Clinical & Documentation Support

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, instructions, and updates in the EMR
• Maintain consistency and quality in patient records as per internal procedures

Program Ownership & Collaboration

• Work independently to support program goals and patient outcomes
• Partner closely with care managers, physicians, and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience
• Promote excellence in patient experience and service standards across touchpoints

We're Looking for Someone Who

• Has 3+ years of experience as a clinical psychologist, functional health coach, or counsellor, preferably working alongside medical teams or fertility clinics
• Is an excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple patients and priorities simultaneously
• Brings a strong sense of empathy and emotional intelligence to difficult or sensitive conversations
• Is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment
• Constantly looks for ways to improve efficiency without compromising care quality
• Is interested in fertility, reproductive health, and third-party reproduction, and is comfortable supporting patients through treatment journeys
• Is a collaborative team player who values shared ownership and impact
