Key Responsibilities

Design, implementation, and delivery of research and policy support activities in alignment with NCoEGPS objectives.

Engage with senior government officials, port authorities, industry leaders, academia, and think tanks to ensure collaborative implementation.

Develop and execute annual work plans and strategic goals of the Centre.

Provide technical direction and contribute to research outputs, policy briefs, and stakeholder reports.

Facilitate high-level stakeholder consultations and capacity-building workshops.

Ensure smooth administrative and financial operations of the Centre, with high standards of integrity and compliance.

Organize internal steering committee meetings, prepare progress presentations, and ensure timely reporting to MoPSW and leadership.

Stay abreast of global best practices and emerging technologies in green shipping, and integrate them into the Centres agenda.

Educational Qualifications:

Masters/Ph. D in Maritime Engineering, Marine Sciences, Naval Architecture , Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Experience:

Specialization or demonstrated experience in marine engineering, sustainability in ports and shipping, or related fields is preferable.

Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in shipping industry, port management, logistics and supply chains, or modern energy systems.

Strong track record in leading multidisciplinary teams, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
