Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer, the Gymtonico based in Bengaluru. The Fashion Designer will be involved in designing innovative fashion collections, creating design concepts, and collaborating with team members throughout the creative process. Responsibilities also include working with textiles, ensuring proper fitting, and incorporating embroidery techniques into designs. The designer will research current trends while maintaining a creative and forward-thinking approach to fashion design.

Qualifications

• Should have 2+ years of experience with strong skills in Fashion Design and innovation.
• Proficiency in utilizing techniques related to Embroidery and Textiles
• Understanding of proper garment Fitting and ability to apply this knowledge in designs
• Comprehension of trends and experience in the Fashion industry
• Creative mindset and excellent attention to detail.
• Trend forecasting & market research to contribute to brand positioning throughdesign storytelling.
• Support R&D in product innovation and expansion into new categorie
• Tech pack creation & garment constructionunderstanding
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Relevant certifications or degrees in fashion design or a related field.
• Experience in designing active wear/spoart wear is a plus
