Role & Responsibilities:

Forecasting, conceptualization, creation and execution of collections and thus offering a complete range.
Trend research and in-depth market survey of fashion trends in order to thoroughly understand the market needs.
In-depth understanding of the Brands look and design philosophy and providing new yet commercial ideas.
Creative interpretation of Stories and concepts and coming up with new and interesting textures, embroideries and Silhouettes for the Brands collections.
Creating the initial look of the garments conceptualized to facilitate sample development by working hands on with tailors and embroidery karigars.
Presentation of range to Internal and external Buyers.
Adhering to timelines set as per the organizational T&A calendar

Candidate Profile:

NIFT/ NID design graduate with 5 years of experience in Retail Industry/Export Houses.
A proactive individual with strong follow up capability.
Design development as per timelines.
Inter & Intra department/ vendor co-ordination and follow up.
Should have special interest in embroideries and surface treatments
Team player with great time management and interpersonal skills
Creative bent of mind, Strong knowledge of Fashion designing.
Technical knowledge of Corel Draw, Corel Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator.
