Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer based in Hyderabad.
• The Fashion Designer will be responsible for developing innovative designs and seasonal collections aligned with Aribos design philosophy. The role involves concept development, sketching, fabric exploration, and translating ideas into well-executed garments that reflect the brands minimal and refined aesthetic.
• The designer will work closely with the production and sampling teams to manage the design process from concept to final garment, ensuring consistency in quality, fit, and craftsmanship.
• The role also includes overseeing fittings, guiding embroidery and surface detailing, and refining garment construction to achieve elevated yet wearable outcomes.
• The ideal candidate brings strong sensitivity to fabrics, silhouettes, and finishings, and can balance creativity with functionality and commercial appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal concepts and design collections aligned with Aribos aesthetic.
• Create detailed sketches, design directions, and garment specifications.
• Explore and work with natural fabrics, textures, and material treatments.
• Collaborate with production and sampling teams to execute designs accurately.
• Oversee fittings and refine silhouettes for comfort, proportion, and wearability.
• Guide embroidery, surface detailing, and garment finishing.
• Ensure design consistency across collections.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Fashion Design with the ability to create innovative yet wearable designs.
• Deep understanding of textiles, natural fabrics, and their applications in fashion.
• Proficiency in embroidery techniques and surface detailing.
• Experience in fittings and garment construction with focus on comfort and form.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong aesthetic sensibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and sampling teams.
• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
• Prior industry experience or internships in fashion design are advantageous.
