Role Description

Were looking for a Fashion Design Consultant who can take charge of our end-to-end customization journeyfrom understanding client vision to working with boutique teams to bring those ideas to life. This is a client-facing, style-driven role for someone who thrives on creativity, precision, and human connection.

Responsibilities

Customization & Styling:

• Translate customer preferences into unique custom designs
• Provide expert style guidance for special occasions, bridalwear, and modern Indian looks

Client Consultation:

• Understand customer intent, taste, and event requirements
• Coordinate video/in-person consultations to co-create garment direction

Fabric & Material Selection:

• Assist clients in selecting fabrics, embellishments, and trims
• Work with internal and vendor teams to guide sourcing decisions

Vendor Coordination:

• Liaise with boutique partners, tailors, and artisans for production execution
• Ensure fit trials, alteration feedback, and final delivery align with expectations

Project & Quality Management:

• Track multiple client orders at once and deliver high-quality outcomes on time
• Maintain documentation of design specifications and feedback loops

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or related fields. (NIFT/NID/PEARL preferred, but not mandatory)

Experience:

13 years of experience in a fashion design/styling/client-facing role. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong design sensibility and understanding of Indianwear/occasionwear
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Attention to detail with a high bar for quality
• Proactive and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
• Familiarity with fabrics, trims, and basic patterning is a plus
