Position Title : Fashion Consultant / Design Stylist

Locations : Bangalore - Whitefield

Working Days:

• 6 days workweek.
• Weekends (Sat & Sun mandatory).
• 1 weekly off on a weekday

TheEthnic.Co is a premium mens ethnic wear brand crafted for the modern Indian man. We offer a wide range of ready-to-wear designs and sizes, bespoke/custom-fit options, and fully customised couture pieces all manufactured in our own factory in Bangalore.

As we expand our offline footprint with the launch of new stores, we are looking for experienced and highly energetic professionals to take complete end-to-end ownership of store operations and elevate the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Consultation & Styling

• Understand customer needs, occasion (wedding, reception, festival, etc.), and personal style.
• Suggest suitable ethnic wear looks (sherwanis, kurtas, bandhgalas, etc.) with appropriate styling tips.
• Guide on accessories, colors, and combinations for a complete look.

Design Customization Support

• Recommend add-on embroidery, alterations, or design tweaks to personalize the attire.
• Coordinate with the tailoring/design team for feasibility and execution of customizations.

Sales & Conversion

• Build rapport with walk-in customers and explain product USPs.
• Convert customer interest into confirmed orders.
• Achieve sales targets through upselling and cross-selling (e.g., pairing attire with stoles, footwear, jewellery).

Store Experience & Brand Representation

• Maintain high grooming standards to represent the brands premium ethnic wear positioning.
• Ensure store presentation and merchandise display are aligned with brand guidelines.
• Assist in managing trials, fittings, and post-sales customer service.

Key Skills Required :

• Sense of fashion styling and mens ethnic wear aesthetics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and design elements (training will be given).
• Sales orientation with customer-first mindset.

Candidate Profile :

• Education: Diploma/degree in Fashion Design / Styling / Textile Design (preferred).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in fashion retail / boutique / styling roles.
