Family Office Lead

We are seeking a strategic and analytically strong professional to lead the investment function and overall setup of a Family Office platform. This is a high-responsibility role requiring independent evaluation of investment opportunities, transaction oversight, and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in equity analysis and research, preferably from investment banks, institutional setups, or private investment environments, and demonstrate structured thinking with execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Evaluation & Strategy

Conduct detailed equity analysis, financial modeling, and company evaluation (listed and private markets).

Independently assess investment opportunities across sectors.

Develop investment theses and present structured recommendations.

Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategic actions.

2. Transaction Execution & Oversight

Lead end-to-end transaction management including:

o Financial due diligence

o Valuation exercises

o Deal structuring inputs

Coordinate with attorneys, bankers, consultants, and third-party agencies.

Ensure disciplined documentation, process management, and execution timelines.

3. Structuring & Governance

Maintain a fundamental (non-technical but practical) understanding of:

o Taxation implications of investments

o Structuring of investments and holding entities

Work closely with tax advisors and legal counsel to implement efficient structures.

4. Stakeholder Management

Liaise with:

o Investment banks

o Legal advisors

o Chartered accountants

o Consultants

o Portfolio company management teams

Manage third-party agencies and ensure accountability and quality of output.

5. Portfolio & Treasury Oversight (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

Exposure to debt markets and treasury management is an advantage.

Evaluate fixed income opportunities where relevant.

Assist in liquidity planning and capital allocation strategy.

Candidate Profile

Experience

612 years of relevant experience in:

o Investment banking

o Institutional equity research

o Private equity / Venture capital

o Private company evaluation

Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation.

Technical Competencies

Strong equity research and analytical skills.

Proficiency in financial modeling and company valuation.

Working knowledge of tax and investment structuring concepts.

Exposure to debt markets/treasury management (preferred but not mandatory).
