Faculty Position in Sports Science (Tenure-Track / Tenured)

Position Overview

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and external engagement in one or more of the following domains:

• Exercise Physiology
• Biomechanics & Performance Analytics
• Sports Psychology & Cognitive Performance
• Data Science in Sports
• Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation Science
• Human Performance Optimization
• AI and Wearable Technologies in Sport

The appointment is expected to contribute to the development of a globally benchmarked undergraduate and graduate Sports Science curriculum and establish a high-impact research program.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, or related field from a globally recognized institution
• Strong publication record in top-tier peer-reviewed journals
• Evidence of competitive grant funding (or high potential for securing funding)
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring
• Experience working with elite athletes, professional teams, or high-performance systems (desirable)
• Interdisciplinary research orientation preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a high-impact research program
• Publish in leading journals and pursue competitive research funding
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Sports Science
• Mentor student research and doctoral candidates (if applicable)
• Contribute to curriculum innovation and lab development
• Engage in industry and professional sports partnerships
