Faculty - Political Science

Royal Global University, Guwahati, invites applications from distinguished and accomplished candidates for the faculty positions at the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels in the Department of Political Science. The selected candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership by engaging in advanced teaching, high-quality research, doctoral supervision, curriculum development, academic administration, and fostering collaborations with industry and policy institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and facilitate high-quality teaching, research, and scholarly activities.
• Guide and supervise student research and academic activities.
• Collaborate with other departments and contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. For Associate Professor:

A minimum of eight years of experience with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of eight publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

2. Assistant Professor

Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines with relevant teaching/research.
