Job Description:

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mahindra University is searching for well-organized, trustworthy Faculty Associates to join the Department. The Faculty Associates responsibilities include teaching a requisite number of labs, tutorials, providing guidance to students and academic support to faculty members. You should also register formally as a Ph.D. candidate within 6 months of joining. You must make every effort to complete your PhD within a reasonable amount of time.

To be successful as a Faculty Associate, you should thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment and be able to respond to criticism maturely. Outstanding candidates are able to learn from faculty and are constantly expanding their subject knowledge.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Evaluation of Assignments, Quizzes and Exams.
• Conducting tutorial classes.
• Providing demonstrations and supervising experiments and other lab activities.
• Assisting with various departmental duties and providing academic support to faculty members.
• Preferably attend the lectures of the course for which you are a tutor.

Requirements:

• B.Tech and M.Tech in the relevant academic discipline.
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong fundamental knowledge in some aspects of mathematics and signal processing like Linear algebra, complex functions, Fourier Transform etc.
• Excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and engaging with students.
• Patience, understanding, and willingness to help.
• Must be ready to register for a Ph.D. position.

We are currently looking for candidates who can assist in the delivery of Signals and Systems course typically taught in the second-year undergraduate program.
