Role Overview
We are looking for askilled and reliable 3D Faculty to teachcore 3D animation modulesacross our programs. The role focuses onstrong fundamentals, structured workflows, and portfolio-quality output, preparing students for industry-oriented careers.
The ideal faculty member should be able tomake complex topics easy to understand, manage the classroom effectively, and follow astudent-centric approach. A genuineinterest in teaching and mentoring studentsis essential.
Faculty 3D Animation
Location- Arena Animation, Park Street Kolkata
Employment Type - Full-time | On-campus
Working Schedule - Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
This is a fully on-campus role. Work-from-home or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Modules & Areas of Teaching
- CG pipeline fundamentals
- Hard-surface and organic modeling
- Digital sculpting
- Texturing and realistic surface creation
- Lighting and rendering (Arnold)
- Character rigging
- Principles of 3D animation
- Basic AI-assisted workflows for 3D
- 3D portfolio development and refinement
Software Knowledge Required
Mandatory
- Autodesk Maya
- ZBrush
- Adobe Substance Painter
- Arnold Renderer
Strongly Preferred
- Blender
- Unreal Engine
- Reality Scan
- Familiarity with Gen AI tools for 3D workflows
Faculty Responsibilities
- Conduct theory and hands-on lab sessions
- Explain concepts, workflows, and best practices clearly
- Guide students through assignments and portfolio pieces
- Track student progress and maintain classroom discipline
- Conduct internal assessments and evaluations
- Coordinate with academic and placement teams when required
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma inAnimation, 3D, Digital Media, or Game Art
- 25+ years of experience in teaching or professional 3D production
- Strong foundation in modeling, sculpting, texturing, lighting, and animation
- 3D portfolio or demo reel is mandatory
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 25,000 35,000 per month (depending on skill set and experience)
- Paid Time Off:
- 12 days of paid leave per year
- Approximately 15 days of bank holidays
