Factory Medical Officer

Role & responsibilities :

• Require carrying all Statutory Pre-Employment Medical Check up.
• Perform periodic health checkups based on occupational risks.
• Provide prompt medical care in case of accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies at the workplace.
• Regular checkup of employees working in Hazardous areas.
• Maintain health surveillance programs for workers exposed to hazardous substances.
• Train workers in basic first aid and emergency response.
• Responsible for Implementation of Medical Policy Reimbursement.
• Maintain and supervise first aid facilities and ambulance services.
• Conducting Awareness Campaigns on Health, First Aid etc.
• Responsible for Liaison with local Hospitals and Doctors and ESI Hospitals.
• Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Factories Rules, and other occupational health regulations.
• Collaborate with the Safety/HSE department to conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Medical degree and valid medical licenses from Govt Indian Institute.
• Over 8-10 years of hands-on experience as a medical practitioner.
• MBBS degree is mandatory ; MD is desirable, AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health)
• Experience in occupational health or industrial medicine.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining medical records.
