Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB / Discovery / CSDM Specialist

Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and governance of a robust Configuration Management practice. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in CMDB architecture, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring accurate, reliable, and scalable configuration data aligned with business services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB in alignment with CSDM (latest versions) best practices

Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery (Horizontal & Cloud Discovery)

Integrate CMDB with external data sources (cloud platforms, monitoring tools, asset tools, etc.)

Ensure data normalization and de-duplication across sources

Monitor and improve CMDB data quality using CMDB Health Dashboards

Stakeholder & Process Alignment

Collaborate with ITSM, ITOM, Security, Asset, and Cloud teams

Support ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset) using accurate CMDB data

Provide technical guidance and best practices to teams and stakeholders

Prepare documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

Mandatory Skills (Must Have):

ServiceNow CMDB Architecture & Administration

CSDM (Common Service Data Model) strong practical implementation experience

ServiceNow Discovery (On-prem & Cloud)

Service Mapping

Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)

MID Server configuration & troubleshooting

CMDB Health, Data Certification & Governance

Good to Have:

ITOM Visibility / ITOM Health

Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP)

IntegrationHub / REST APIs

Asset Management (HAM/SAM)

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-Discovery, CIS-ITOM, CIS-CMDB)
