About the Role
Sun Glazing is looking for an experienced Facade Design Manager for the design and engineering of facade systems for commercial and residential projects. You will oversee the full design lifecycle from concept through shop drawings and production drawings ensuring technical accuracy, aesthetic quality, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Facade design development including unitized curtain walls, cladding, and other systems
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and project teams to finalize design intent
- Review and approve shop drawings, material specifications, and structural calculations
- Generate MTO and fabrication drawings
- Calculate consumption of aluminum, steel and other raw materials for estimation purpose
Qualifications
- 812 years of experience in facade design and engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. Basic knowledge of Revit and STAAD is preferred but not compulsory.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum, glass, and composite panel systems
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
