Job Description
)Configure, Implement, and manage Big IP F5 load balancer
2)Good Knowledge in iRules and policies as per business requirement
3)Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure rapid incident response.
4)Good Knowledge in the F5 Load Balancing platforms, must have integration/configuration/administration experience, and possess a solid Network background including an understanding of switch, network routing, and firewall concepts.
5)The F5 Engineer must possess very strong troubleshooting skills as well as a strong TCP and HTTP /HTTPS understanding as it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application flows.
6) Experience working on the F5 LTM, GTM & APM as well.
7) Good Knowledge in performing the SSL certificate renewals for the URL’s/Vip’s
8) Good understanding in upgrading the OS version
9) Good knowledge in virtual F5 load balancer platform(EsXi)
10.Ongoing maintenance and support of solution components (e.g. patching, upgrades, capacity reviews, Licensing)
11. Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Routing,
12.Configuration and troubleshooting experience in Cisco network devices (Routers, Nexus switches & Core Layer 3 catalyst switches)
13. Good Knowledge & troubleshooting experience in Cisco ASR & ISR routers
14. Good Knowledge & troubleshooting experience in Cisco Nexus 9k switches.
15. Good Knowledge in DC Routing & Switching infrastructure
16. Configuration & troubleshooting knowledge in BGP routing protocol (ASN, PBR, Route-reflectors, community, Tags & Attributes)
17. Configuration & troubleshooting knowledge in EIGRP routing protocol (load balancing, topology & Metrics)
18. redistribution of routes between different routing protocols
19. Good knowledge in Route-mapsACL & Prefix list
20.Good Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing protocols,
21.Good remote troubleshooting skills
22.Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
23.Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
24.Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 supports
25.Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
26.Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities
27.. Read and reply to e-mails related to support of Incidents, Incident Tasks or requests sent to the team mailbox
