Position Title: Export Merchant Decorative Lighting
Location: Noida (Full-Time, On-site)
Compensation: 47 LPA (Based on Experience) + Performance Incentives

About the Company
Sutra Luminis is a premium decorative lighting brand delivering bespoke lighting solutions for
luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects across India and
international markets. As part of our global expansion strategy, we are seeking an
experienced Export Merchant with a background in decorative lighting exports to
manage and grow our international business operations.

Role Summary
The Export Merchant will be responsible for managing end-to-end export operations
specifically for decorative lighting products. The role requires hands-on experience in
handling international buyers, managing lighting product documentation, coordinating
production timelines, and ensuring compliance with global quality and certification standards.
This position demands prior experience in exporting decorative lighting or closely related
interior/luxury lighting products.

Key Responsibilities
1. International Client Management
Manage and coordinate with overseas buyers, distributors, and project clients in the
decorative lighting segment.
Handle RFQs, product specifications, quotations, and order confirmations.
Maintain strong relationships with repeat international buyers.

2. Export Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage complete export documentation including:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
Certificate of Origin
LC documentation (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with lighting-specific export requirements, including product
certifications (CE, RoHS, etc. where applicable).
Coordinate with DGFT and customs authorities as required.

3. Production & Shipment Coordination
Work closely with design and production teams to ensure export-quality standards
are met.
Coordinate packaging standards suitable for international transit (fragile lighting
fixtures).
Liaise with freight forwarders and CHA for timely dispatch.
Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.

4. Commercial & Pricing Management
Calculate export costing including freight, duties, insurance, and margins.
Negotiate freight rates and manage logistics cost efficiency.
Handle payment terms including LC, TT, and advance payments.

5. Market Development
Identify new international markets for decorative lighting.
Coordinate export sales through B2B platforms and trade fairs.

Support brand positioning in global luxury lighting markets.

6. Reporting & Payment Follow-ups
Maintain export order tracking and shipment MIS.
Monitor payment cycles and foreign remittance tracking.
Share monthly export performance updates with management.

Mandatory Requirements
36 years of experience in export operations specifically in decorative lighting or
luxury lighting products.
Strong knowledge of international lighting standards and export compliance.
Experience handling fragile, high-value lighting consignments.
Familiarity with Incoterms, international freight handling, and customs procedures.
Hands-on experience with export documentation and DGFT processes.

Preferred Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Commerce, or related field.
Strong communication skills for international client correspondence.
Proficient in MS Excel and export documentation systems.
Detail-oriented with strong coordination skills.
