Your Role

As an Export Control Manager within Capgemini Engineerings Global Business Line, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control regulations across projects and operations in India. Reporting to the Head of Export Control (GBL ECM) and the Delivery Director, you will coordinate internal stakeholders, manage export licenses, and foster a culture of compliance.

Looking for someone with solid experience in SCOMET regulation and with hands-on experience in export license applications (intangible export license will be a plus, for sure) will be an idle candidate

In this role, you will:

Policy, Procedures & Process

• Deploy export control policies, instructions, and processes across the organization.
• Implement applicable procedures and monitor their effectiveness.
• Identify gaps and suggest corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain Project Technology Control Plans.

Operational Support

• Manage export licenses and governmental authorizations (Indian DGFT, US EAR & ITAR).
• Demonstrate expertise in the SCOMET list and Indian export control regulations.
• Maintain export control documentation and license records.
• Support project teams in compliance planning and mitigation.
• Conduct export control classification assessments.
• Serve as the key contact for authorities and customer export control departments.
• Report and escalate export control risks to GBL ECM.

Culture & Communication

• Identify training needs and implement awareness programs.
• Build and coordinate a network of local Export Control Champions.
• Actively contribute to internal export control network activities.

Your Profile

• Masters degree or equivalent (5 years of higher education).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in export control management.
• Strong knowledge of Indian SCOMET list, US EAR & ITAR, and EU regulations.
• Proven experience in applying for and managing export licenses.
• Background in technical or industrial environments with cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in constrained environments.
• Fluent in English.
• Eligible for local national government security clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
