The Institute of Directors (IOD), India, established on 12 July 1990, is an apex association of Corporate Directors registered under the Societies Registration Act of India. It is renowned as the first institute in India to introduce Corporate Governance training, serving over 30,000 senior executives from government, PSU, and private organizations globally. The Golden Peacock Awards

Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, which is now celebrating over 34 glorious years, is currently regarded as hallmark of Corporate Excellence, both locally and globally. Established in the year 1991, as one of the early and prime initiatives of IOD, it has been attracting more than 1000 corporate applications annually, for 15 different corporate key functional domains. Today, no other business Award globally is accorded such recognition & patronage - known as 'Badge of Excellence' globally under the Golden Peacock Excellence Model.


Role Description

The Assessor Golden Peacock Awards will be responsible for evaluating and assessing applications submitted for the prestigious Golden Peacock Awards across various corporate disciplines. The tasks include reviewing, assessing and analyzing submitted documentation, preparing detailed evaluation reports, providing feedback to applicants, and conducting thorough comparative assessments aligned with the established award criteria.

Qualifications

  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and professionalism essential for conducting thorough evaluations and assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating precise evaluation reports and providing constructive feedback
  • Good understanding of Corporate Governance principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team setting
  • High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining objectivity and confidentiality in evaluation processes
  • Prior experience in award assessment, corporate evaluation, or consultancy roles is highly desired
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or related disciplines preferred.
