Experience

2-3 years of hands-on experience in HCL Unica Campaign (or HPCLs Unika implementation)


Location :MUMBAI (hybrid)



Role Overview

We are looking for a Unica Campaign Operator who can independently execute, manage, and optimise marketing campaigns using Unica (Unika). The role requires strong operational expertise in running multi-channel campaigns, audience segmentation, and ensuring accurate campaign delivery with minimal errors.

This is an execution-heavy role, working closely with marketing, analytics, and technology teams to ensure campaigns are launched on time, targeted correctly, and tracked effectively.


Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Execution & Operations

  • Build, configure, and execute end-to-end campaigns on Unica (Unika) across channels such as SMS, Email, WhatsApp, Push, and Direct Marketing
  • Create and manage audience segmentation, contact strategies, and campaign flows
  • Set up offers, treatments, cells, and control groups as per campaign requirements
  • Schedule campaigns, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time deployment

Data & Targeting

  • Work with customer data tables (profiles, transactions, behavioral data)
  • Perform data validation, deduplication, suppression, and exclusions
  • Ensure targeting accuracy and compliance with business rules
  • Coordinate with data/IT teams for data availability and refresh cycles

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Perform pre-campaign checks to ensure data accuracy and logic correctness
  • Monitor campaign runs and troubleshoot campaign failures or performance issues
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and opt-in/opt-out norms

Reporting & Monitoring

  • Track campaign execution status and share run reports
  • Support post-campaign analysis by sharing target lists, response data, and control group results
  • Maintain campaign documentation and audit trails

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Analytics, and Tech teams
  • Translate campaign briefs into executable campaign flows
  • Support ongoing campaign optimisation initiatives

Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory

  • 35 years of hands-on experience working on IBM Unica Campaign / Unika
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Campaign flows, cells, offers, and treatments
  • Audience segmentation and targeting logic
  • Control groups and test-and-learn setups
  • Experience executing multi-channel campaigns
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
  • Experience working with large customer datasets

Good to Have

  • Experience in BFSI, Oil & Gas, Retail, or Loyalty Programs
  • Exposure to CLCM / CRM programs
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle campaigns
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in customer communication
