Executive – Pricing (Ocean & Air Imports/Exports)

Fretlog, a subsidiary of Arkas Logistics, is looking to fill an Executive Pricing (Ocean & Air Imports/Exports), vacancy in Pune, Maharashtra.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and competitive pricing solutions by coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This role plays a key part in enhancing commercial outcomes and supporting sales activities through efficient pricing management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with shipping lines/airlines, vendors, service providers, and overseas agents to obtain, update, and validate freight pricing.
• Prepare and issue rate quotations for customer inquiries and RFQs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support sales teams in rate negotiations, margin evaluations, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure that approved rates are communicated promptly to internal teams and clients.
• Maintain pricing reports, databases, and relevant documentation with high accuracy.
• Contribute to cost optimization initiatives aimed at improving overall profitability.
• (Preferred) Leverage existing customer relationships and strong connections with shipping lines.

Qualifications:

• University degree or relevant equivalent.
• 23 years of experience in freight forwarding, with exposure to ocean and air pricing.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
