2. Job Purpose
The role supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Management, and HR Onboarding initiatives at MIT-WPU. The incumbent will coordinate training programs, manage training calendars, support the onboarding of new employees, and ensure structured employee development aligned with institutional goals and culture.
3. Key Responsibilities / KRAs
A. Learning & Development Delivery
- Conduct internal training programs for employees across departments.
- Deliver sessions on soft skills, workplace behaviour, employee engagement, and functional topics (as applicable).
- Please make sure training programs are delivered according to the approved training calendar.
B. Training Need Identification & Program Design
- Identify and prioritize training needs through:
- Performance appraisal inputs
- Departmental feedback
- Organizational strategy and priorities
- Design training programs with defined objectives, learning outcomes, content, and assessment methods.
- Ensure training content remains current and aligned with MIT-WPU culture.
C. Training Execution & Coordination
- Manage end-to-end training execution, including:
- Training schedules and communication
- Participant nominations and confirmations
- Venue and logistics coordination
- Trainer coordination (internal/external)
- Training feedback and evaluation
- Support rollout of campus-wide L&D initiatives.
D. HR Onboarding & Employee Induction
- Coordinate and execute employee onboarding programs for new joiners.
- Plan and deliver HR induction sessions covering policies, culture, and systems.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth joining and onboarding completion.
- Track onboarding feedback and improve induction effectiveness.
E. Talent Management & HR Development Initiatives
- Support initiatives related to:
- Employee engagement
- Performance management support
- Leadership and managerial development programs
- Maintain a structured repository of learning content and HR tools.
F. Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain training and onboarding MIS, including:
- Attendance and completion reports
- Feedback and effectiveness metrics
- Monthly/quarterly dashboards
- Support HR analytics for workforce planning and talent initiatives.
G. Budget & Vendor Support
- Assist in preparation of training budgets.
- Track expenses against plan and highlight variances.
- Support vendor coordination and trainer empanelment.
4. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Graduate (BBA / B.Sc / any stream)
- MBA / Masters in HR (preferred)
- 46 years of HR experience with exposure to L&D / Talent Management / Onboarding
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
