4th Wheel Social Impact is a purpose-driven consulting firm specialising in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL). We work with foundations, CSR teams, NGOs, and social enterprises to strengthen decision-making through rigorous, data-driven insights.


As we grow, we are strengthening our internal finance and administrative systemsand are looking for an Executive Finance & Administration to anchor these operations.


Role Overview

This is a hands-on finance and admin role focused on day-to-day accounting, compliance support, and smooth administrative functioning. You will work closely with internal teams and external finance partners to ensure accuracy, discipline, and process efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Finance (70%)

- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance

- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including client invoicing and follow-ups

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures

- Track project-wise expenses and support budget monitoring

- Coordinate with project teams for timely expense documentation

- Work with external CA on GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance

- Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation

- Prepare internal financial summaries and reports



Administration (30%)

- Process and track travel expenses and reimbursements

- Maintain documentation for project and vendor payments

- Manage office administration, vendors, supplies, and equipment

- Maintain organised physical and digital filing systems

- Handle general administrative coordination and correspondence

- Support leadership with finance-related administrative tasks


Qualifications & Experience

- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration

- 2+ years of experience in finance and administration

- Experience managing accounts and day-to-day financial operations

- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory requirements

- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and/or Tally

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities


Preferred Background

- Experience in consulting firms, NGOs, or social-impact organisations

- Exposure to project-based or multi-client accounting environments
