Role: Exadata Administrator (SME) - Modernisation, Optimization and Automation.

Location: Gurugram India (Onsite)

Type: Contract (12 months Contract -extendable)

Experience: 7+ years

Skill set:

Exadata, OGG, DB Upgrade(19c ,23 AI,26 AI etc.), DB migrations, ADG, RMAN, Capacity Planning, AWR, ASH, Ansible, Shell Scripting, OEM 13c & 24 AI

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute upgrades to Oracle Database versions (19c, 23c AI, 26c AI, etc.).
• Monitor and troubleshoot OGG processes to ensure zero data loss and high availability. Upgrade OGG and make it compatible with 19c and later DB versions.
• Ensure minimal downtime techniques and approaches for Database migration. Configure standby databases, apply redo logs, and perform switchover/failover testing through ADG.
• Perform restore and recovery drills to validate disaster recovery readiness.
• Plan for storage, CPU, and memory growth based on business projections.
• Conduct proactive performance assessments using AWR reports and Optimize SQL queries, database parameters, memory structures, and I/O configurations for optimal throughput
• Suggest Purging and archiving options for Data. setup Fleet Management for Patching through OEM.
• Integrate OEM with Grafana and prepare Dashboards. Setup daily Reports for team & analyze trends.
