Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing , combined with expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies . The SME will lead digital transformation initiatives, optimize EV production processes, mentor teams, and implement smart factory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical authority in EV manufacturing, automation systems, and Industry 4.0 solutions .
• Drive the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies , including IoT, robotics, AI/ML for predictive maintenance, digital twins, and process automation.
• Lead process optimization and automation projects to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in EV production lines.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to engineers and operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy innovative manufacturing solutions .
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and best practices for EV manufacturing and automation.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and upskilling programs for teams in automation and EV manufacturing.
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders , ensuring alignment of engineering solutions with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in EV manufacturing, automation, and smart factory technologies .
• Deep knowledge of Industry 4.0 : IoT, AI/ML, digital twins, predictive analytics, robotics, and process automation.
• Proven experience as an SME, technical lead, or senior engineer in EV or automotive manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, mentoring, and communication skills .
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, MES, ERP systems, and simulation software .
