Job Description
End-User Support: • Respond to end-user requests for technical assistance via help desk tickets or remote support on teams or call. • Resolve software and hardware issues reported by end-users, including desktop support, software installations, and system configurations. • Provide guidance on how to use hardware and software effectively. • Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles for common technical issues and solutions. Device Support: • Manage end-user devices through centralized management tools, Mobile Device Management (MDM • Prepare OS images and configure them according to organizational standards. • Monitor device inventory, software inventory, and compliance status. • Implement policies for device security, remote access, and data protection. • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and software applications used by end-users. • Manage software licenses, including, deployment, and compliance tracking. • Ensure software updates and patches are applied regularly to maintain system security and performance. • Provide support for productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications. Security and Compliance: • Implement security measures to protect end-user devices and data, including antivirus software, encryption, and access controls. • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry regulations related to end-user computing. • Monitor and investigate security incidents or breaches involving end-user devices and take appropriate remediation actions. |
