What Youll Do

This role provides advanced Level 2 End-User Computing (EUC) support, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across devices, applications, and user services. Responsibilities include delivering BAU technical support, managing onboarding/offboarding activities, maintaining patch compliance, and upholding IT security, risk, and regulatory standards.

1.Daily BAU (Business-As-Usual) Support

• Provide Level 2 technical support for laptops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot escalations from users related to hardware, OS, applications, and network connectivity.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within agreed SLAs.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, VPN, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.

2.Onboarding & Offboarding Support

Onboarding

• Prepare and configure devices for new joiners.
• Ensure timely provisioning of user accounts, entitlements, access rights, and security groups.
• Assist users during Day 1 setup: device login, MFA, applications, remote access, mobile enrollment, etc.
• Maintain asset inventory accuracy for newly allocated and existing devices.

Offboarding

• Coordinate user exit processes including account deactivation, access revocation, and device return.
• Ensure secure data handling and wiping of returned devices.
• Update asset management systems and reconcile inventory.
• Account is disabled and access revoked.

3.Patch Management

• Validate patch compliance status and ensure machines meet required security baselines.
• Troubleshoot patch installation failures and implement corrective actions.
• Generate and present patch compliance reports to leadership and security teams.
• Coordinate with EUC teams for monthly/quarterly patch cycles.

4.Risk & Compliance

• Ensure EUC environment adheres to internal IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
• Track and remediate compliance exceptions and vulnerabilities.
• Maintain accurate device inventory and ensure encryption, antivirus, Zscaler, SentinelOne and endpoint protection compliance.

5.Security KCIs (Key Control Indicators)

• Monitor and report on critical security controls including:
• Endpoint encryption compliance
• Antivirus/EDR status
• Patch compliance
• Admin rights usage
• USB and peripheral control compliance
• DLP-related violations
• Maintain logs and documentation required for governance and monthly/quarterly KCI reporting.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 35 years of experience in Level 2 EUC/desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS/MacOS, Office 365, Active Directory and endpoint management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, JAMF (for Mac), or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of IT security concepts (encryption, EDR, patching, MFA, least privilege).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools (FreshService).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
• This role is initially to be hired as a contractor, supported by a third-party agency, and will be considered for a permanent role when the audax India Entity operationalises in 2026.
