As a Test Analyst with 4 to 6 years of experience you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data testing processes. Working in a hybrid model you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute test plans identify defects and ensure that our data solutions meet the highest standards. Your expertise in data testing will contribute to the success of our projects and help drive innovation within the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data solutions.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.
- Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Utilize data testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in requirement analysis to ensure testability and completeness of data specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and update test documentation to reflect changes in data solutions and testing processes.
- Provide input on test automation strategies to improve testing coverage and reduce manual effort.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and quality metrics to ensure project goals are met.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data testing to continuously improve testing processes.
- Contribute to the development of testing standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
Qualifications
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data testing tools and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Have a solid understanding of data structures and database management systems to support testing activities.
- Show experience in test automation and scripting to enhance testing efficiency.
- Display the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field to support technical expertise.
Certifications Required
Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent certification in data testing.
