ETL Developer

We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using the Ab Initio data processing platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data integration, ETL development, and working with large-scale data environments. You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable and high-performance data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System).
• Develop and optimize data integration pipelines for large datasets.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or Teradata.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and transformation logic implementation.
• Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data processing issues.
• Collaborate with data architects and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and data models.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
• Support production deployments and resolve ETL job failures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool.
• Experience with GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and Co>Operating System.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning of ETL jobs.
• Good understanding of data modeling and data transformation techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop or big data technologies.
• Knowledge of Informatica, Talend, or other ETL tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control systems.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
