Job Description:

We are looking for experienced ETL developers with expertise in IBM DataStage and Netezza SQL scripting to join this project. Below are the key responsibilities and required qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage to integrate data into Netezza databases.
• Write optimized SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, and performance-tuned queries for efficient processing.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation and error handling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and database performance issues.
• Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Implement data governance and security measures per organizational policies.
• Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications for reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage.
• Strong expertise in SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning in Netezza.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning of SQL queries, indexing, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting for ETL automation.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools and data orchestration frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot ETL failures and performance issues.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
