ETL Developer - Snowflake and Matillion

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake & Matillion)

Locations: Hyderabad Bangalore Pune Chennai Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake .
• Architect, build, and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Drive data integration from multiple on-prem and cloud sources into Snowflake.
• Implement and maintain best practices in data quality, governance, and security .
• Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable data-driven insights.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers on technical best practices and development standards .
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for performance and reliability .
• Automate workflows, deployment, and testing processes using CI/CD tools .
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions .

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles .
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL for building and orchestrating complex pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) , preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of data lake concepts, schema design, and best practices in data architecture .
• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security frameworks .
• Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) .
