ETL Consultant

Should have:

• 23 years of hands-on ETL development including pipeline design, orchestration, and debugging.
• Strong SQLexpertisewiththe abilityto write complex queries,optimizeperformance, and implement transformation logic.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as fact/dimension design, SCD1/SCD2, surrogate keys, and data partitioning.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business rules, interpret mapping documents, and convert requirements into scalable ETL logic.
• Experience in production support and incident resolution, including error handling, root-cause analysis, and meeting datarefreshSLAs.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines for ETL code deployment, version control, and development best practices.

Good to have:

• Strong communicationand stakeholder interaction skills, including requirement clarification, documentation, and delivering demos.
• High learning agility, with willingness to adopt new tools (Python, Databricks, API ingestion, Delta Lake) and continuously expand data engineering skills.
