Job Description

The Solution Architecture will play a pivotal role in performing and own the following set of activities:


  • Requirement Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements, conduct gap analyses (identifying where customizations might be needed), and translate them into a comprehensive solution design and architectural blueprint for D365 Core Solution for organization


  • Architecture Definition: Design the overall system architecture, including data modeling, security, integration strategies, and the use of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) and Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.).


  • Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical leadership to development teams and functional consultants, ensuring adherence to the architectural vision and Microsoft's best practices. This includes mentoring team members and performing peer reviews.


  • Implementation & Deployment Oversight: Guide the solution through the full lifecycle, from design to testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and performant.


  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including architecture designs, technical specifications, and end-user training materials


  • Certifications: Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert or similar Power Platform certifications are often preferred.


  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ERP systems.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ERP solutions.
  • Requires a high understanding of the regional specificities, needs and constraints in terms of solution & technology.
  • Implements the regional ERP solution as an incremental version of the implemented ERP solution while keeping aligned with the country specific requirements regulatory/compliance for the domains not limited to Finance, food, FM business.
  • Requires the ability to adapt constantly and increasingly frequent legal and functional changes.


Key Responsibilities:


ERP Rollout

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) solutions for the ERP APMEA/LATAM.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into D365 solution designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality solutions and efficient project execution.
  • Create and maintain solution architecture documentation, including technical specifications, diagrams, and integration points.
  • Manage integration of D365 with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop customizations, configurations, and extensions in D365 to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct system performance reviews, identify improvements, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Provide expertise on D365 best practices and support project teams with complex troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to security, data governance, and compliance standards.
  • Drive the deployment of D365 solutions, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-rollout support.

  • Feeds global stakeholders with regional specificities, needs and constraints.


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommends technologies/processes that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.


COMMUNICATION

  • Acts as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them understand the current solutions architecture and gains endorsement for future solutions and spend.
  • Presents solutions from a functional/business point of view to internal and external customers.


Required Skills:


Hard Skills

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • Minimum of 10 15 years of experience working in ERP applications and min. 5 years as an D365 as Solution Architect
  • Proposing, checking and reviewing solution approach for all Gaps in business process requirements. Identify necessary customizations, and translate these into a comprehensive solution design
  • Contributor, reviewer/validation and approval of Solution blueprint document for overall solution aligned to Core Solution Approach for D365 F & O
  • FDDs review and approval for business solution/Interfaces standard/customized solution
  • HLDs review and approval for interfaces solution
  • Good experience of implementation project for D365 F & O
  • Excel in implementing, configuring, and managing solutions within the D365 F&O platform for specific business cycles D365 F & O
  • Supporting Integration Solution approach and data connectivity with different 3rd party systems
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate the solution for complex business process in D365 F & O.
  • Experience working in an international environment and understanding of complex organizations.
  • Oriented professional having worked in International and Multi-cultural environment with excellent people management skills and an ability to manage change with ease.
