About the role

Join a focused equity research team that identifies high-quality companies. Youll work directly with a senior analyst, supporting fundamental research, financial modelling, and valuation work across industrials and engineering firms.

This is an early-career role ideal for recent graduates who have completed CA or CFA (all levels) and want a hands-on start in investment research.

Key responsibilities

-Support senior analyst with company coverage in Capital Goods & Engineering.

-Build and maintain financial models

-Perform industry and company-level fundamental research: collect, analyze, and synthesize financial statements, management commentary, industry reports, and channel checks.

-Prepare valuation analysis (DCF, relative valuation, sensitivity analysis) and scenario-based forecasts.

-Build research notes, earnings previews/reviews, and investment memos.

-Create presentation-ready charts and slide decks for internal and client discussion.

-Assist in monitoring macro/sector developments and flag material news and risks.

-Support ad-hoc data requests and quantitative analysis to improve coverage quality.

Skills Required

-0-2 Years Experience

-CA or CFA (completed all 3 levels)

-Strong accounting fundamentals and comfort reading audited financials.

-Excellent Excel skills advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling experience.

-Solid understanding of valuation techniques (DCF, multiples, EV/EBITDA, etc.).

-Self-starter with high attention to detail and ownership mindset.

-Clear written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex analysis into concise notes.
