Equity Derivatives Trader

The Institutional Broking arm of one of the largest New Age Brokers is hiring for a high-performance trading and execution platform catering to institutional clients. They are looking for a skilled Cash to Futures Arbitrageur to join them.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 38 years of experience in Cash-Futures Arbitrage (mandatory).
• Prior experience in proprietary trading firms, institutional broking, or hedge funds.
• Strong understanding of Indian equity cash and derivatives markets.
• Proficiency with trading terminals, order management systems, and market data tools.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of funding costs, margining, and carry models.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and execute cash-futures arbitrage opportunities in equity and index derivatives.
• Monitor spreads, cost of carry, funding costs, and margin efficiencies in real time.
• Manage trade lifecycle including execution, rollover strategies, and position closure.
• Optimize capital allocation to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
• Coordinate with risk, operations, and compliance teams for smooth trade settlement.
• Track corporate actions, dividends, and events impacting arbitrage pricing.
• Ensure strict adherence to risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and refine arbitrage strategies using data analytics and trading tools.
